Cammie is an Adjunct instructor in the Women's Studies Department at Portland State University.. She earned her B.S. in Psychology, modified with Women's Studies and Education, from Dartmouth College and her MA in counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. In addition to her published research works, Cammie also maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist specializing in individual and group therapy for adult female survivors of childhood trauma. Cammie teaches three weekend courses Sexual assault, Women & Trauma, and Moving Beyond Trauma. She believes in the relationship between learning and teaching, and facilitating healing. In her spare time Cammie most enjoys music, movies, and playing with her nieces and nephews.
